What Is a GSM Autodialler — and Why Your Fire Alarm Needs One

A fire alarm that only rings locally protects a building while people are in it. A GSM autodialler protects it around the clock.

What Is a GSM Autodialler — and Why Your Fire Alarm Needs One

A conventional fire alarm does its job well while people are on site: sirens sound, everyone evacuates, someone calls for help. But what about at 2 a.m., on holidays, or at an unmanned godown? A siren nobody hears protects nothing. That is the problem a GSM autodialler solves.

How It Works

The autodialler connects to your fire alarm panel. The moment the alarm triggers, it dials a list of pre-programmed phone numbers over the GSM network — the owner, the security agency, the facility manager — until the alert is delivered. No landline, no internet connection and no monitoring subscription is required; a standard GSM SIM is enough.

Where It Earns Its Keep

  • Warehouses and godowns that are locked overnight
  • Schools and offices outside working hours
  • Retail premises, workshops and factories
  • Any site where a fire must be known about immediately, even with nobody present

Beyond Fire

The same GSM alert platform extends to other critical systems — panic alarms, perimeter fencing alarms and remote equipment monitoring. It is a core technology in our GSM / GPRS / 4G remote monitoring and control product line.
